Ramp Up to Kindergarten

PPS Ramp Up to K is a welcoming and supportive introduction to school designed to help incoming Kindergarten students feel comfortable and confident before the first full day of school.

During Ramp-Up Days, students will have the opportunity to get familiar with their Kindergarten teachers, classroom, school spaces, daily routines, and what to expect at school.

Your child’s Ramp-Up Day is based on their last name:

• A–L: Thursday, August 27
• M–Z: Friday, August 28

Ramp-Up Days are full school days from 8:00 AM–2:30 PM.

First Full Day of Kindergarten

Monday, August 31 will be the first full day of Kindergarten for ALL students.
